OVERVIEW OF THE WEBINAR
This online seminar focuses on the European Research Council Funding Programme (ERC). Prospective applicants for ERC STG, COG or ADV grants will gain insights into the planning, preparation and writing of a competitive proposal. The seminar is delivered online (via Zoom). After registration, each participant will receive a personal link and password for the seminar, and a copy of the slides and materials. Questions and interaction will be facilitated during the seminar.
ABOUT ERC FUNDING
ERC provides attractive, long-term funding to support investigators and their research teams to pursue groundbreaking, high-gain and high- risk research. ERC frontier research grants are awarded on the basis of scientific excellence. Applications can be made in any field of research. Independent researchers of any age and career stage from anywhere in the world can apply. The funding supports investigators looking to set up or consolidate their own independent research team or programme, as well as to already established research leaders. Evaluation of ERC grant applications is conducted by peer review panels composed of renowned scientists and scholars selected by the ERC Scientific Council. The panels may be assisted by independent external experts working remotely.
