Horizon Europe-Pillar 2 Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness – Online Webinar

OVERVIEW OF THE WEBINAR

The above afternoon webinars (I and II) will focus on Horizon Europe Calls expected for Work Programme Cluster 1 Health. The Call Themes and Topics of interest will be selected in advance by the client researchers and groups, and these will provide the underlying focus for the webinars. The webinars (presented via Zoom) will help researchers to plan, write and submit competitive proposals for the Cluster 1 Health Calls. Questions and interactions will be welcomed by the presenter, Dr. Catherine Halbert, an experienced EC evaluator.

ABOUT HORIZON EUROPE CLUSTER 1 HEALTH FUNDING

The Cluster 1 Health Work Programme [2021-2022] is directed towards two Key Strategic Orientations for research and innovation set by Horizon Europe’s strategic plan 2021-2024, notably to creating a more resilient, inclusive and democratic European society and promoting an open strategic autonomy by leading the development of key digital and enabling technologies, sectors and value chains. It aims to mainly contribute to four impact areas of the strategic plan: Good health and high-quality accessible healthcare; A resilient EU prepared for emerging threats; High quality digital services for all; and Competitive and secure data-economy. More specifically, Cluster 1 aims to contribute to six expected impacts as set by the strategic plan, which are the destinations of this work programme.
